South Sea imports prides itself on being an independent quilt shop only fabric line. It was the first cotton division created at MM Fab. South Sea Imports has been in the cotton fabric business since 1991.

Richard Friedman has owned MM Fab since 1972. MM Fab was a leader in supplying apparel fabrics to the manufacturing and retail industries until Richard shifted his company's focus over to supplying the Quilt/Craft and manufacturing markets with 100% cotton products. Today 35 years later Richard and his wife Gloria are running MM Fab with the same objective as when Richard started his company, to supply the market with the finest quality product in the industry.
