Grace  Pullen

Grace, a self taught artist, was born and raised in New Jersey. She and her husband moved into a log home in the Lower Hudson Valley in New York State 10 years ago. She is married to her best friend and soul mate Stephen, they have 2 grown children, several adopted cats and one lucky dog. "The look of Folk Art appeals to me, the primitive, original, the not so perfect piece has a unique quality and charm in one's home. I love the look of old, the patina of a piece that has been loved and used for years and I try to incorporate that feeling into my artwork". Grace has always loved art, would doodle on her school books and any paper that was available since she can remember. It was when she moved to her log home that she was inspired to paint. The colors that Mother Nature provided her while she looked out from her front porch was enough for her to buy some paint and brushes and start her new venture. After selling her artwork in several venues her artwork is now being published for open edition prints through Sagebrush Fine Art.
